CHALLENGE YOURSELF TO COMPETE WITH OTHER STUDENTS IN AN ENVIRONMENT OF ENTREPRENEURS THAT HAD TAKEN YOUR SAME PATH
If you are a university student and you have a startup or an entrepreneurial project, this is your great opportunity to make it known, submitting it to a jury of entrepreneurial experts, and accessing the possibility of presenting it in the Global Student Entrepreneur Awards (GSEA).
GSEA is a program of Entrepreneurs’ Organization (EO), an organization dedicated to fostering and supporting entrepreneurship based in more than 50 countries, 146 cities and with more than 12,000 members around the world.
The last two final of the GSEA, held in Toronto, Canada 2018 and Macau, China 2019, were students who won the semifinal of Barcelona who represented Spain.
Now you have the opportunity to follow that path and reach the final of 2021!
WHAT IS GSEA?
The Global Student Entrepreneur Awards (GSEA) is the premier global competition for students who own and operate a business while attending college or university.
It is aimed for students who own and run a startup or business while attending university. And can also participate students who have an entrepreneurial project but have not yet set up their company.
The selected ones will be evaluated by prestigious juries of the entrepreneurial world and will compete to qualify for the GSEA 2021.

WHO CAN COMPETE?
Requirements to be elected and participate
- You must be enrolled for the current academic year in a university/college as an undergraduate, graduate or postgraduate student at the time of application. Full-time enrolment is not required; part-time enrolment is acceptable.
- Your business must have generated or being able to generate at least EUR € 500 or received US $1000 in investments. If you have not met this yet, you can still participate, Bcombinator could help you to achieve it during the competition.
- There is not age cap for participation, however to access to the final we will prioritize students under 30 years of age at the moment of the application.
PATH TO COMPETITION
Reception and evaluation of projects.
Selection of projects on February 10, 2021. The best 6-10 projects will pass to the regional semifinal in Barcelona.
Regional semifinal Barcelona, February 16, 2021. The first three places will go to the national final, along with the three winners of the Madrid semifinal.
National final Spain, February 25, 2021. This year will be celebrated in Madrid. The winner will compete in the international final.
