Brinkr wins the Spanish final of GSEA 2026 and will represent Spain in Europe

Bcombinator, an innovation hub and coworking space in Barcelona, hosted and organized the Spanish final of the Global Student Entrepreneur Awards (GSEA) 2026, the world’s largest university entrepreneurship competition promoted by the Entrepreneurs’ Organization (EO).

The winning project was Brinkr, a technology startup founded by Aleix Cases Escasany, a Civil Engineering undergraduate student at the Universitat Politècnica de Catalunya (UPC). Brinkr will represent Spain at the GSEA Europe Quarter Finals, to be held from April 12 to 16, 2026, in Dublin, Ireland.

Next international stages of GSEA 2026

Following their victory in Spain, Aleix Cases and Brinkr will compete in the GSEA Europe Quarter Finals in Dublin and may attend the Global Leadership Conference (GLC). The subsequent stages—the Start It Up Bootcamp and the GSEA Global Finals—will take place in July and August 2026 in Cape Town, South Africa, with expenses covered by the global GSEA organization.
